His family boated every weekend rain or shine. In the off season time was spent working on the family boat at the boat yard. You could say his history of working on boats started when he was just old enough to hold a scraper and paint the bottom of the family boat. Jeff's first boat had a 1957 Johnson 5 1/2 hp that needed constant adjustment. That's really where it all started, the need to learn how an engine worked came out of necessity or you might not make it back. By age 10 he and his dad built their first boat together.  Jeff has built 3 and restored countless boats over the years. His work history expands a life time .  He has worked for big to small boat dealers along with off shore racing boats back in the late 80’s and took part in a successful superboat race team.  Today Jeff enjoys the years of knowledge of working on every brand of outboard Engine and is a certified Evinrude technician. His knowledge base is extensive in the repair of boats, engines and their systems. His philosophy has been one of being a constant student of the marine business.
